I am looking forward to the crispness of the Fall here in CT. I must say I loved the summer! And your poem is my signal that the season is once again changing!

Robin: hey there! thanks for stopping by. i am sad that summer means i must go back to work LOL...but thank you for reading & commenting. come again!
sista babz: well, we don't get much "crispness" around these parts, no changing of colors, no significant weather shift...so i've never had that much attachment to fall. just means school/work is back in session.

I like this piece even though it reminds me that I am terribly homesick. The fall season is such a pronounced change from the summer in Michigan, where I grew up. I always miss the fall so much at this time because there isn't much change here in Texas. Sweet, for the memories that it evokes. Thanks for sharing.

Alright, my computer is playing tricks on me--I thought I posted a response. (It's the Gremlin's fault.)
I just wanted to say what a beautiful poem. -But, I LOVE fall. --All the sights, the sounds (rustling leaves), the smells, Halloween, caramel apples, the tweeds and funky woolens, etc. Love it!
I tend to feel more like the poem when fall starts turning into winter...
