daredevil

17 months       training
     legs arms and toes
exploring every inch
of new
      world

fear lives not
in his heart
    mine surges
when i see him

brown legs jumpping
from tables or chairs
or jungle-gyms or stairs
straining to reach
                     everything

i wonder when
he will be tamed
reckless spirit lost
amid mommy's worring words

It's good to see you back in swing. :)Nice poem. A restless spirit can be tamed by the Spirit. Good to see you sis! Peace~

Omigosh! My heart skipped a beat when I saw you on my blog. I'm so glad to see that you are OK. I've been a terrible blog citizen for the past 4 months but I certainly will do my best to catch up. Stay strong and regards to your Beloved. Peace and Love,

The feelings in this poem are universal and yet you do a good job at making them personal and making me think of how they relate to may own struggles in life to let go and hold on.
